Dairy Free Sour Cream

Sour cream is the base to most dips. You can enjoy this tangy treat without the dairy or sugar.

This recipe can be tweaked to your taste but here is the basic recipe. This recipe is Whole30, Paleo and Keto compliant.

So yummy that you will want to keep some in the fridge for your potatoes too!

It is so easy to make this and it keeps longer than the dairy counterpart. Once you try this, you will wonder why you did not change to this option before.


Dairy Free Sour Cream


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut cream or milk - I use Thai Coconut Milk

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • pinch of sea salt


Directions


Prep Time: 5 minutes

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and mix until smooth

  2. Taste and add additional lemon juice to make it even more “sour” or additional pinch or two of salt to round out the flavors.

  3. Chill for about 2 hours
