- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ¼ cup beets, shredded
- ¼ cup carrots, shredded
- 1 Tbsp Italian herbs
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

- 1. In a medium saucepan combine all the ingredients, except the basil.
- 2. Bring to a low boil.
- 3. Cook for 10 minutes.
- 4. Add basil and serve.
